It is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to the official website of University of Technology and Arts of BYUMBA-UTAB (former IPB).We have designed this website with the aim of keeping you abreast of the most recent achievements of our Institution, by providing you with the most up-to-date information, news and reports. In addition, it seeks to convey a broad view of the key role that UTAB (former IPB) plays in supporting the comprehensive development process of our Country-Rwanda, and in realizing the vision of our beloved country as well as the one of the founders of IPB towards the transformation of our country into a modern and need knowledge-based economy; all this according to our moto: “Educatio, Scientia, Ministeria.”

We also seek to provide the website’s visitors with an in-depth view of the University’s wide spectrum of objectives, vision, mission, values, principles, programs, faculties and directorates, in addition to various services to the community reports, in both English and French languages. Moreover, the website provides information on UTAB’s key partners in different research domains that are IPB’s gateway to its realization and to achievement of our Rwanda Vision 2020 and the SDG′s.
