Duties & Responsibilities

  • Campus Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the campus, ensuring smooth functioning of administrative processes, facilities management, and coordination with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Academic Support: Providing support to faculty members and students, ensuring effective delivery of academic programs, facilitating student success initiatives, and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Student Services: Managing student services and support programs, including student recruitment, admissions, advising, counseling, and extracurricular activities to enhance the student experience.
  • Campus Development: Participating in strategic planning and development of the campus, including expansion projects, infrastructure improvements, and resource allocation to meet the evolving needs of the campus community.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Overseeing the budgeting and financial management for the campus, monitoring expenses, allocating resources, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, parents, local community, and industry partners, to foster collaboration and support for campus initiatives.
  • Campus Safety and Security: Ensuring the safety and security of the campus environment, implementing emergency preparedness plans, and coordinating with relevant authorities to maintain a secure campus.
  • Staff Supervision: Providing leadership and supervision to campus staff, promoting professional development, and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Communication and Public Relations: Representing the campus in communication and public relations activities, promoting the campus’s achievements, events, and initiatives to internal and external audiences.
  • Compliance and Policy Implementation: Ensuring compliance with institutional policies, regulations, and legal requirements, and implementing campus-specific policies and procedures to maintain institutional standards.

  • To provide all information about UTAB and orientation about
    admission, registration, reorientation, suspension and transfer.
  • To receive and orient the issues of students concerning marks complains, reorientation, suspension and resuming studies to different concerned departments and communicate them the feedback.
  • To provide all necessary documents to students from UTAB Byumba.
  • To receive and check   students’ documents requesting for admission,
    registration and academic documents and send them to the office of
    Academic Registrar.
  • To receive, record and submit bank slips to Finance Department.
  • To facilitate the delivering of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars
