The faculty of education at UTAB came into being after the university was awarded the charter as a public university in 2015. Prior to this, the subjects that are currently offered in this faculty focus on education.
The faculty of education consists of two departments (the Department of Education in Sciences and the Department of Education in arts and Humanities). The faculty currently has full-time and part-time academic members who help students day to day in their studies. Through teaching and research, the staff of the faculty of education has made professional and scientific contributions to the public, local, district, national, and international science and technology communities.
